And it's no surprise why - this complex system significantly influences not just our digestive health, but also our immunity, mental health, and more. Our gut microbiome, the community of microorganisms living in our intestines, plays a crucial role in our overall health. In fact, research suggests that a healthy gut microbiome can support everything from our mood to our metabolism.
Gut and Immunity: Over 70% of our immune cells reside in our gut, making it a primary defense mechanism against disease. Disruption in our gut health can often lead to weakened immunity.
